Phil Comments On Microsoft All Stars Battle Royale, No Scalebound At TGAs, Great Black Friday Sales

Recently, research firm InfoScout shared their report on Black Friday Sales with a conclusion that Microsoft's Xbox One outsold PlayStation 4 handsomely because of "Lower prices and gaming+console bundle". The report further added that Xbox One captured 62% of the market share on Black Friday. In short, it was a great Black Friday for Xbox Community.

Today, Xbox Division Boss Phil Spencer (via Twitter) commented on Xbox One success during Black Friday sales and various other topics such as partnership with Epic Games for "Samaritan" concept powered by Unreal Engine 4 for Xbox One, whether or not Scalebound gameplay will be showcased at The Game Awards 2014 and many others.
When congratulated by a fan on Twitter on amazing "Xbox One Black Friday" sales and amazing exclusive line for Holiday Season 2014, Spencer replied: "Thanks, appreciate the way gamers came out to support XBOX One this month. Really nice to see."
Spencer then went on to announce that Xbox One Exclusive Scalebound from Platinum Games won't appear at The Game Awards 2014 and added that development work on the game is coming along really well.
"Sorry, Scalebound won't be at TGAs. Game is coming along well, but need to keep team focused on building the game right now."
When asked about how "a partnership idea with Epic Games for Xbox One for the Samaritan concept powered by Unreal Engine 4 sounds"? Spencer replied:
"I have great friends at Epic. The work @EpicGames has done has grown the industry. Always open to working with them again."
When a fan showed his work of characters of Microsoft in Killer Instinct or Microsoft All Star Battle Royale (in my opinion it looks pretty impressive) Spencer praised the work and stated:
"Nice work. Interesting. I've been negative on this in the past. Other than SSB hasn't been huge hit in this space."
Microsoft All Stars Battle Royale
The points mention by Spencer are pretty valid, only Nintendo's Super Smash Bros has been a huge hit in "Battle Royale" genre, but it would be interesting to see whether Microsoft give it a try atleast once and see how things turn out to be. Also, Xbox One exclusive line-up for 2015 looks bit dull (E3 2015 is coming so we might see an announcement from them soon) so partnership with Epic Games for something like Samaritan concept powered by UE4 sounds pretty cool.
