Hideo Kojima Receives Supportive Mail During Metal Gear Solid V Crunch Time, Gets Moved to Tears

Even iron-clad veterans of the Gaming Industry can feel a bit down at times, especially during crunch time, and Hideo Kojima has been very hard at work (even at rather late hours, if his tweets are any indication) on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
In those moment, the support of fans and colleagues can go a long way in making one feel recharged, and that’s exactly what happened to the creator of Metal Gear Solid:
A while ago Kojima-san mentioned that Boggs’ latest work Framed was his favorite game for 2014. Quite evidently Boggs was moved by Kojima-san’s words, and his gratitude reached Metal Gear Solid V‘s creative director exactly when it was needed.
Looking at an industry that often gets hit by (mostly unwarranted) negativity, it’s lovely to hear heartwarming stories like this one.
