The first game is beloved by many for its fantastic animation style and deep, consequential, gameplay. The fact that it’s harder than Dark Souls 2 probably added to its appeal. With the game ending on a cliffhanger, and a huge amount of world building setting up a universe, the announcement of the sequel pleased many. We can’t wait to see where this saga ends.
